Credit Report - Check your credit report. If your agreement has been active in the last 6 years, it should be listed on there. Remember, if the agreement has ended, check your closed accounts section.
Bank Statements - Check old bank statements. These will show payments you made to the finance provider.
Emails and Paperwork - Check past emails for agreement details and take time to look for any paperwork. At the point of sale, you will have been given a copy.
Dealership - Go back to the dealer you bought the vehicle from and ask what finance providers they used at the time. Give them as much info as possible, name, date of birth, address etc

Comparison Sites - Check comparison sites history as they will have a record of your past searches.
Emails - Check your email history around the time you took out any insurance, the vehicle reg will be on there.
